Yes. Dimension offers remote trading from any location within the United States.

Do you require a Series 7 license to trade at Dimension Trading Group?
No, as a CBSX member, our traders are required to have a Series 56 license to qualify for the Proprietary Trader registration category.

Can you qualify for the Proprietary Trader registration category if you currently have an active Series 7 license?
Yes. If you have an active Series 7 license you may qualify for the Proprietary Trader registration category because you will automatically be granted the Series 56 through the waiver process – eliminating the need to take the Series 56 examination. This waiver will be automatically process through December 31, 2011. After that date, all future waiver will be subject to a written request.

What if my Series 7 is expired?
If your series 7 license expired recently, you may be able to reinstate the license through the waiver process. If the waiver process is not available to you, you are required to take the Series 56 examination to qualify for the Proprietary Trader registration category to trade equities, options and ETFs with us.

What is the Series 56 Exam?
The Series 56 is a qualification examination consisting of one hundred questions. Study materials are available through various sources to assist with your preparatory studies.

If I have trading experience, can I have the Series 7 exam waived?
Trading experience alone, regardless of the length, will generally not be a basis for a waiver of the Series 56 examination requirement. Typically, a Series 7 license, active or recently lapsed, will be required in addition to prior work experience.

Can anyone take the Series 56 exam?
If you meet the background qualification standards of the Exchange, you may be eligible to take the Series 56 examination but you must be sponsored by a CBSX-member firm, such as Dimension Trading Group, LLC.

Where do I take the Series 56?
The Series 56 examination is given through the auspices of approved test centers. These test centers have a multitude of locations domestically and internationally where the examination may be scheduled. After the member-firm grants permission for you to take the examination., you will be able to select an available date and locations near to you.

What is required to study for the Series 56?
As mentioned previously, there are a number of preparatory materials available through external vendors (i.e., Pass Perfect), which will assist you in passing the Series 56 examination.

Does Dimension Trading Group require Continuing Education?
Every registered person is required to participate in the Dimension’s continuing education program.

How long does it take to open an account?
The account opening process can take 7-14 business days to complete, depending on how quickly you provide necessary information to our firm.

How often are withdrawals processed?
Withdrawals are processed bi-monthly.
